Porcupine spikes of sterling silver, or  yellow or rose gold vermeil, gather and fire out in a glistening apparel. Fearsome, face-framing earrings, tapered spiked pendants and rings, chokers and bangles of precise horizontal quill layers, all generate a hypnotic almost op-art effect when worn. Quill is inspired by the sharp silver earrings Shaun Leane made for the 2003 Alexander McQueen show, ‘Irere’.
