Handcrafted from yellow gold vermeil and 0.33cts of brilliant white diamonds, our Serpent’s Trace Drop Pendant takes inspiration from the aluminium Coiled Corset Shaun Leane made for Alexander McQueen. A single perfectly graduated vertebrae of articulated yellow gold vermeil pieces of “bone” suspend the décolletage, ensnared in the bejewelled jaws of the serpent’s skull - diamond encrusted. Designed to move with the wearer, each piece of gilded “bone” has its own precise movement, conjuring the hypnotic slither of the serpent as it sways, catching the light. The piece becomes a breathing work of art, sinuously moving across the collarbone. Mechanical, light-reflecting, technically dazzling, the Serpent silhouette took our Mayfair team of trained goldsmiths four years to perfect. Leane’s creations breathe life into a mythological legend. Adjustable to individual three lengths. Also available without diamonds.
