Every year, Love EMC raises critical funding to support EMC’s programs around the world, helping improve access to safe and respectful maternity care for every mother, everywhere.

Every Mother Counts (EMC) founder, Christy Turlington Burns, will hosted the annual Love EMC event LIVESTREAMED from New York City on Tuesday, December 1. Every year, Love EMC raises critical funding to support EMC’s programs around the world, helping improve access to safe and respectful maternity care for every mother, everywhere.
In the past, the event has brought together a diverse crowd of guests ranging from healthcare workers and activists, to fashion and business executives, to celebrities and influential tastemakers. The highlight of the event is a special silent auction hosted by Sotheby’s auction house. This year the house of Shaun Leane is pleased to announce that we will be donating a pair of our iconic 18ct yellow gold Hook earrings to the auction, that will sit alongside designer gowns and luxury holiday experiences.
EMC is a non-profit organization dedicated to making pregnancy and childbirth safe for every mother, everywhere. To date they have invested more than $14 million in public education, grants and engagement programs that work to achieve quality, respectful, and equitable maternity care for all women. They currently fund programs in seven countries: Bangladesh, Guatemala, Haiti, India, Tanzania, and the United States.
